My Life Through Pictures

Currently, this is my happy place. I'm usually always a stickler about making my bed each morning, but lately I've been loving the joy of an unmade bed.
My first job was at Wendy's.  My mind races back to those glory days every single time I bite into a spicy chicken sandwich. To this day, I still think this is the best chicken sandwich out there!
Jamy comes over often to have lunch with me at work. On this day we had Jamaican food. I really love this jerk beef stew. Honestly, tastes like Hmong food.
Here's full Jamy after eating Jamaican food.
Here's my mother about to get a D+C done. I told her she should smile. She's always in good spirit, even on a hospital bed.
While waiting for mom's surgery, sil Chris and I took dad down to the hospital cafeteria. Thankfully this hospital seems more like a hotel so the food was more pleasant. Guess what my dad is drinking? Lol
Here's my youngest brother and I at Lenox Square in ATL. We took him shopping for his 17th birthday. This boy just grew up.... and I grew fat. Oh goodness...
The lighting was horrible, but we had to get a picture of Reason.

After shopping at Lenox Square, we went treasure hunting at Walmart. For hot wheels, of course!
More hunting...
...and more hunting.
Jamy acquired gout. Boohoo!! Finally, a good enough reason to ride this in the store.
My view each morning as I leave for work. All I'm missing are some deer and fawns in the meadow.
My dad and his shadow. Ian makes us all so happy! Seriously, my heart jumps for joy looking at this picture. This was us celebrating Ian's soon to arrive cousin, Judah.
Judah's parents.
We straightened my mom's hair. She loved it. Oh yes, that's my dad in the back.
One random work day. Goodness, I need makeup and some eye brows. :)
Here's Ian ordering pho that one time when sil Chris went away for the weekend.
He's been waiting for this pair of shoe. He's all giddy like a child on Christmas morning.
Trying to be a good wife, I went to Sneaker Exit with Jamy.

We must've gone to this booth like 100 times! I don't get this game.
Jamy was in heaven.
At Sugarloaf Mills doing what Jamy does best.
I've been digging hydrangeas lately. Blue ones to be exact! Found these at church by the pastor's old house. Going to plant some at my new house for sure (whenever that is).
These kids are so brave! I was on kid duty.
Bff- about to hit each other. Kid duty is no joke!
Church field day.

Can't look cute cause we gotta win! They did win. Here's Alexis in yellow.
Treasure hunting at Walmart again.

We used to have game nights religiously when we lived by ourselves. We try to make a comeback here with Rummikub, but gone are the good old days.
Found this pretty rock outside of work so I wrote this and now this rock sits at my desk as a daily reminder for me to choose joy.
I have never been in love with a restaurant before, but Red Crawfish.... you and I have a thing. Actually, everyone in Georgia seems to love Red Crawfish!!! This place was grrrrrreat! :) Hits the spot!!!
Here's to the long summer days and volleyball evenings. I really wish I could play because I think I can be quite competitive, but unfortunately playing volleyball makes me dizzy.
I found this candle with a good-bye letter from my sister, who got married and left to be with her husband in Indy. Here I am burning it for the first time after two years.
My parents' very cluttered room.
We gave their room a makeover as a Father's Day gift to my dad. He loved it.
I was actually winding down for bed, but before so I had to get a quick shot in.
A praying husband is a keeper! There's nothing more beautiful.
We found this beautiful brick wall and it was golden hour so I took this very symbolic shot of Jamy.
I love how the sun is just peeking through on its way out in this shot.
Judah is here and he is so perfect!
A beautiful candle from Mee - my small group leader at church. She's so sweet!

Judah is in the process of falling asleep.

The thing we love about babies... they sleep easily. LOL :D

Here's my parents in the mid of doing grandparent duties. Dad is holding Ian (super heavy baby boy) and mom is holding Judah (super light).

One evening after returning home from work I realized the night was pretty clear. I looked up and saw that the bright moon was right above our house. Here's a snapshot of that night.

That one time a few months back when I caught the Summer flu. I laid in this sofa all day and thought I was going to die. While I was laying there, all I could think about was how the watermark up there looks a lot like a fluffy teddy bear.

After work, Jamy and I went to Walmart to pick up a few necessities. Of course, this involves looking at some hot wheels.

Here's Jamy again.

Here's my stud... and I. :)

Dad turned 57 this year! Still looking great!

Ian wanted dad to hold him. He loved celebrating dad and clapped all through our Happy Birthday song. He's so cute and has stolen my heart even though he has a love/hate relationship with me!!

Jamy collapsed in the shower on one Sunday evening. We took him to ER. Thankfully, God is with Jamy and all is well.

Here I am across from Jamy. I should've been hospitalized too. In this picture, I was still going through the Summer flu.

Here we are at Ian's first birthday party! Yes, I need to lose weight. Yes, I am currently dieting.

Ian and his smash cake. He was uncertain of what to do since everyone just looked at him. lol

Here's my beautiful mother. She wanted a picture with this beautiful cupcake.
