Twenty Twenty

I saw a tiktok video this morning with a man pleading to be taken back to 2019. I laughed because it's comical, but also because I wonder how many of us would go back if we we could. The year 2020 has been so rough in it's own right. January was unfathomable! I couldn't even breathe because work was just insanely busy. Then, in February Georgia received 3-4 inches of fluffy snow. Here we are in March and the whole world is fighting the coronavirus, Covid-19. These are scary times and certainly times of uncertainty! Two weeks ago had you ask me, I would've never thought we'd be in this boat today. Alas, here we are. Although the future is unknown, I believe in God and I know He sees my future. I know He is for me. Covid-19 must come to be and through this, God will be glorified. I am completely fine because I know this truth!

In the midst of Covid-19, I was blessed to have celebrated 35 years of life--- a beautiful life that is--- with the people I care and love. As old as I am, my parents are still wanting to ensure that I am loved and cared for. They threw me a small party with my favorite food. It feels good to be loved. If I have learned anything, lately, it is that life is precious and I will not take it for granted. As I embark on this new chapter, I want to ensure that I remain align with scripture. In Ephesians 6:12, I am reminded that "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms". Praying for the world today. Also, in the wake of this coronavirus, Mia came into our world! We are so in love with her, Judah and Ian. The fact that we now have to self-quarantine makes me miss these three muchkins so much since I haven't seen them for two weeks straight.

On another note, my budgeting has come to a halt as Covid-19 hits home. As soon as life can resume, I will be back with an update on our finance and budgeting. Peace and love to all! XOXO

Thirty-five.
