If I'm correct, it's been a little over three years since my last job interview. It's needless to say that I was as nervous as a kid going to the dentist for the very first time. Amazingly, I was able to hold myself together while sitting in the room full of potential candidates as well as rivals chasing after the same dream. I had two interviews back to back and boy was I a silly wreck! :D The interviews turned out very well--- better than I expected! I got two calls back right away the next day and they gave me a heads up that everything looked very good on my end. However, they are still working on everything and will hollar my way in the next couple of days. I honestly hate playing the waiting game. The truth of the matter is, I've never ever had to play the waiting game in my entire life. I've always been blessed to be hired on the spot so waiting is definitely something new to me. However, I will embrace this time as I wait.
On a different note, have you ever had such a lucid dream that you can pin point when it's real or when it's just a dream while you are dreaming? Have you ever dreamed that you were doing something in the dream and then realizing that you're also doing that in real life at the same time while doing it in your dream? Am I confusing you yet? LOL :D Okay, so I had this dream that my old boss had called me (she usually does from time to time) and had asked if I could do her a favor by going back to work for a couple of hours. Before she could finish talking, I quickly thought to myself and came to term that I should just hang up on her and act as though I lost service so she would not have to ask me. Right before I could pull that trick off, I quickly remember that this could be a dream so instead of lying to her, I could just wake myself up to end it all. BAM! I woke up and tiredly, I sighed and thought, "Thank God it's just a dream." All of the sudden, I was in the same place, again! Then instead of being on the phone, my old boss was sitting there across the sofa from me and she said, "So, have you made up your mind yet? Can you do me this favor or not?" Then, I just had a whirldwind of images coming and going through me and I thought, "Didn't I just get rid of you by waking up? Unless.... oh no! I fell asleep again!" At this point, I woke up again in real life and quickly reached over for my cell phone. I tripled check to make sure she didn't call and of course, she didn't so obviously I was having an "inception" moment where I was having a dream without a dream without a dream. LOL!!! Before I knew it, I fell asleep again! This time it was a totally different scenario. We went swimming and when we all got to the beach, the water was really muddy looking. It was brown and really gross. We swam anyway. The water was thick as mud and algae was simply everywhere. After struggling to get to the middle of the lake, the water was really clear. Then I remember saying, "Everyone, this water is finally clear and cooling, let's quickly wash ourselves of these nasty algae and mud. Wash your wash, ladies and don't forget to clean your mouths." I was gargling water to cleanse all the nasty mud and algae that could've of gone into my mouth and spitting it out. I was spitting and spitting and spitting. At one point, I was about to vomit thinking of all the mud. All of the sudden, I decided to gargle water for one last time and as I began to spit the water out, I quickly snapped out of my dream into reality. In reality, I was in the middle of spitting out over night saliva and quickly caught myself by cover my mouth. Yes, I got saliva all over my hand! How realistic can dreams get?! LOL It's needless to say, I've been awake since! :P
