He Gave me a Ride

My husband suggested that we ride down the road to the QT to get gas for Lexi, his newly acquired motorcycle. I also needed some greens for my boiled pork rinds so he handed me his backpack. I'm extremely cautious so of course, I was hesitant and honestly really scared. He handed me a helmet. I put on his backpack and got on the back as he drove off. It was only two blocks down from our house but I was still scared to say the least. When I got to the store, I bought two bags of pork rinds, 3 cucumbers, and a pack of green veggies. Stuffed all that into my husband's backpack while we were in the store and I felt weird. Almost like I was stealing all these and stuffing it into my bag. Then we got some gas and came home. I was "that" girl. My husband was already "that" guy. It's not a bad thing. Being "that" girl is just different.

Currently, Trace Adkins' "You're Gonna Miss This" is playing and I hope to make as much memories with my husband as possible even if it means I have to ride behind him in this super scary vehicle that I hardly feel safe in. I don't want to miss this for the world.
