Quick Pic Updates

I told my husband that I was going to set time apart to take more pictures of us---so far---failed. However, I did get some of myself. Purpose being that I fear once we get older, our kids won't remember how we once looked. Ya know? I guess we better get going on the "kid" part. LOL!!! jaykay :) This first pic was an edited version that I posted on my instagram a couple nights ago. If you haven't already follow me and you wish to, my user name is "paajsuahaaam". In it are all things considered "simple pleasures".

This second picture is the first of a few that I took with flash on in the dead of the night. I guess I really didn't need it see as how pale it made me look. Still, it turned out good so I'll take the pale. LOL! The blouse was bought for me by my sister-in-law (Susan) and the necklace was a gift from my sister, Heaven. I love love love it! Thank you, Pog! My lips are a mixture of Revlon's Black Cherry and Blushing Nude. On my eyes are a little bit of everything from the Chai Latte palette that my sister and I got a year or so ago. This is my go to palette and it's definitely one of my go to look minus the bold lips. Usually I would just go with a nude.

This coming Saturday, I'm attending a baby shower for a friend that I met a couple weeks back. I don't know about people in general, but I like gift-giving. I like it even more if it's from the heart. I don't know about anyone else's opinion, but I'm not too keen on gifting clothes because babies grow oh-so-very fast! Don't get me wrong, I do gift clothing item sometimes. However, tonight, I felt extra spontaneous so I thought I would check into my creative side for once and do something cute/fun. I made a piggy bank for my friend's baby girl that says "My first 'tutu' bank". Isn't it the cutest thing? Get this, I didn't even use pinterest for help! LOL! I hope she'll like it. Since I'm giving her a tutu bank, I thought it's best if my husband and I were the first to deposit some ching-ching in there! Feel free to steal this idea. I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with this thought. lol!!! Would you believe me if I tell you that it looks better in person? LOL!!! Seriously, it does!

Lastly, my family got together and had pho. I wish my husband could've made it in time for this family pho picture. It's okay. I hope there will be next time for another moment like this. Little moments like this I treasure very much! I guess you just can't understand the depth of what it means to treasure something until you can no longer be a part of it every single day. The pho was delicious as always and the best part of it all was the all-you-can-eat meatballs!!!! :P Definitely, I'm going to have to put this recipe to use! Thanks mama for teaching me!
