The Sacrifice

Love requires a lot of sacrifice and tears.

There's love for God, love for your parents, love for your siblings, love for your significant other, love for your neighbors, love for your friends, and love for your enemies. This is why I do what I do.

Sometimes people don't understand my choices in life and they question my actions and motives. Heck, sometimes I don't even understand my choices. Well, truth is I know more than I give myself credit for and that's the sad part. Despite the cliche "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey", sometimes it really is about the destination. It's not about what I am giving up now, but about what I am receiving in turn for sacrificing what I love best right this moment. As much afflicted pain as I am in, I know this is for the greater good of those around me. My mom taught me that when I can go that extra mile, than I am truly loving even if that means that I can't have it my way. I've always wondered "How can this agony be considered love?" but honestly, this is probably love in its purest form... and then I am reminded that God sacrificed Jesus. What can I say? Love isn't love until you give it away.

...so I'll sit here and beat around the bushes because I'm only human and I'm bound to make some sort of mistakes (as if I haven't already made enough). This is the human in me: I hope that when you think of happiness, you'll think of Mexican's at 3 A.M. I hope you'll think of those endless quality times. I hope you'll think of me.

Note: Some pictures become beautiful after a long while and this is one of those picture.
